Ingredients
- 400g chicken, cut into chunks
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 5 large garlic cloves
- 3 chili peppers (poblano or similar)
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 piece of ginger
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 3/4 tsp turmeric
- 3/4 tsp garam masala
- 400g can chopped tomatoes
- 200g cannelini beans
- 200g spinach
- 3 tbsp yogurt
Method
- Chop the garlic, onions, peppers, and ginger into relatively large pieces.
- Chop the chicken into large chunks and add it to a hot pan. Put the lid on.
- Realize later that this cooks the outside while leaving the inside raw, so lower the temp from 7 to 4 and add water because the liedenfrost effect you were hoping to achieve with the high heat didn't even work.
- Put the lid back on.
- Once the chicken is cooked through, remove it and fry the vegetables in the juices. Add some butter for good measure.
- Add spices: paprika, cumin, turmeric, garam masala.
- Fry for two to three minutes.
- Add crushed tomatoes, spinach, and cannellini beans.
- Simmer for five minutes.
- Server with yogurt.
